Also i just sent the whole write-up from the FTX Grand-prix and the snaps to Roy

haha sorry craig, i mean have a hardboard sheet or something for a landing. At the FTX GP there was quite a nice curved take off but no landing as they didn't think we would be doubling it
I agree with Dan, no harm in offering advice, you don't HAVE to take the advice Steve, the Ozys aren't critisising just offering some of their wisdom as they are both excellent track builders for WORM.

I think a down ramp for the double will be a given this time, they wont underestimate the little beasts again

I agree with the down ramp and did try to get roy to at least put a mat down for the last one, but on the micr forum, it went a little ott with the advice/constructive criticism.

One thing for sure is that it will be a good track.

IMO any ramp that sends a micro over 12 inches upwards should have a down ramp, over 2 foot and a down ramp is a must.

Thanks to all who take the time to offer suggestions, none are taken as criticism but to help make it the best we can, as previously said in one of the posts.

Craig is correct, some of the drift sections are "strategically" placed to reduce the need for the knife. We also learnt a fair bit from the FTX Welsh which should be corrected for the UKMicroX so don't worry.

It is a process of little steps but at some point (probably late on Saturday) you have to stop.

Hope you all will come and enjoy what I hope will be another good day, will post the "Race Day Schedule" the week before the event along with heat list. It'll be another bright and early start for most who have to travel a distance so get to bed early and go steady on the golden nectar.

All the best

Roy

Hi All,

Just thought I'd confirm that there will be a shop for your running repairs provided by Trackside Spares of Newport; in addition there will also be a shop for general snacks, hotdogs, teas, coffee, etc., there may be some bacon rolls left if your early enough.

50p bacon rolls with delivery is AWESOME!
Is there a phone number so we don't have to go up to order?
