Hi guys!! First feedback from the track:
Let's start saying that I really like my C4.2, well balanced, predictable and quick.. but..
I first put the B4.2 on track (carpet) last friday, with "good sense" set up, and I was immediately faster!
I run 70% staggers at fron and less than 50% minipins at the back.
No matter this traction was good! Of course tons of steering for a very nimble behaviour.
I could plently use the 6.5 motor.
I am very happy!!

Thinking of going this route. Have you considered weighting the propshaft to get a contra rotating weight to the motor?

..Second club race and second great feedback for you guys!
The car is awesome, so fast and so easy to drive and push hard!
My setup at the moment is:

Rear:
Small bore AE shocks, piston #1, 30wt oil, green springs.
Inner hole on tower (B44 tower, with 2 holes), outer hole on arms.
0.5mm washer under camber link.
Camber link 64.0mm, center hole on hubs, inner hole on chassis.
B44 87g ballast installed.
Thick swaybar.

Front:
Small bore AE shocks, piston #2, 35wt oil, silver springs.
Inner hole on tower, outer hole on arms.
2.0mm washer under camber link.
Camber link 67.5mm, inner hole on hubs, inner hole on chassis.
Steering links 72.0mm, front hole on rack.

Ground clearance about 20mm.

Nothing special actually.. I think the "secret" is in the weight distribution.

I had fun pushing it harder and harder.. up to doing some mistakes , but lap times are going down!!

Just an update as to what's happening,we have not forgotten the B42,at the moment we have a few new chassis's on the go but we will soon be back in full swing, the first yokomo chassis is now out(see yokomo forum)and the xray will be ready very soon, all orders will then be caught up along with a few idea's that we still have in the pipeline.

Because when you move the motor to the opposite side as with the Cobra layout, the direction of travel reverses. So have to flip the diff round to make the drive run in the correct direction again!

Well, actually the B44.1 body fits pretty easily, don't know about the B44.2 one.
Chassis width is compatible, yet the front looks a bit fat.
Of course it will never look as nice as the Penguin body..
