Default TX lipo DIY

So I'm going to put a lipo in my TX, save the hassle of charging 8aa for hours!!!
Where do I start. I can spare a 2200 2s 25c that I use in my M8. But is that much oomph too much?

Suggestions on a postcard please.

biggest you can fit in physical dimensions

sanwa m8 are on 3s 11.1v
sanwa m11 onwards are only 2s 7.4v

if i remember correctly
