WHATS HAPPENED TO CAR INS

Citroen picasso 1600cc on an 2000 plate worth approx £700,
Insurance = £1100 and thats the cheapest i could find and spent around a month shopping about.
Last year i paid £390.
Im 42,driving since 18 and never had a claim with a clean licence and im a HGV driver.
Ive 5 kids so the car is now off the road.
Why penalise those with a clean licence and track record.....

At last its going down. Got my renewal and it was down to just under £1600 for all four cars. I gave Admiral a call and asked them if they had discounted the breakdown insurance also, they said no.
After a little haggling they took anther £100 off down to £1497 for all four cars so pretty pleased with this years price down from £1792 last year.
I think its going down as they are clamping down on the crash for cash and personal injuries claims.

So did we as our multicar is due. Wouldn't give reminder price over the phone so we said we move on. In their next breath we had the prices. Down from last year as well with the sons sp50 included.

Shopped around and we can get all three car policies for less than Admiral MC and Admiral is one of the quotes that comes up cheaper for each driver on their own
