Default Novak Super Sport 8.5T combo and good?

Has anybody run one of these? Is a 8.5t similar to a 11 double brushed?
Would a 8.5t be enough for running in a 2wd with a lipo or should I look for 6.5t combo?

What do you think?

I don't know that you can compare them too closely to brushed equivalents, but a 10.5 brushless is, I think, roughly compared to 19t brushed. That aside, 7.5 seems to be a very popular choice for 2wd and 6.5 in 4wd's.

However, I've run a Novak SS Pro 8.5 in my X6 for while and found that for me it was a nice balance, although I mostly run indoors so don't have the big outdoor tracks that most run on.

I've found that running a slightly slower motor has made my driving smoother (slower = faster!!!)...but then my skill level means that works for me as I crash less . Depending on your skill level and the track(s) you run on either 7.5 or 8.5 would be fine IMO.
