Default Cornwall racing clubs?

I've recently moved house and was wondering, since moved from my old club/track, if there is anywhere around Cornwall or start of Devon way to race. Or just a track? And if there are any clubs worth joing around this area. Thanks.

There are a few...not sure how close any of them are going to be, as they are a bit sparse...the South West is a bit lacking...but improving!

Look up the Tiverton club (Grass & Astro), check the South West region section on here, as there is a club in Cornwall too...in Hayle (fully grass) I think, but not sure what's it's called...plus there are a few other little indoor clubs I think...hopefully people will post about them shortly.

And if you feeling a bit adventurous...as most racers in the South West need to be...there is always WORM in Weston-super-Mare (Somerset)...newly built...so new that we've only just laid the first track onto our new Astro surface last night, and will be confirmed race dates very soon...latest track pic & vid ***HERE***

And our website is www.worm-racing.co.uk

Pretty sure we're the only fully AstroTurf track in the region

Also near Weston there's the new Yatton indoor club...they have a BIG space that they are starting work on now to turn into a permanent outdoor sized indoor track...should be ace once it's done!!! They have a smaller track setup in an upstairs area currently.

Hope it helps!

Thanks! I would race 1/10 4WD off road. So one of the grass or astro ones would be better? Do you know if there is any further south way? Thanks

If anyone is still looking for a club to race at in the South West, There will be a new club opening in Crewkerne for racing 1/10 off road electric buggy's (2wd and 4wd)
We have just signed for the piece of land to race on and will be starting work on the track in the coming weeks.....
The track will be grass/dirt to start with, but we are in the process of getting astro to cover the entire area.
We have a page on facebook, Crewkerne Radio Car Club; so if anyone would like any more info or would like to get involved with the work on the track please give us a shout!
The track will be on the trading estate so we have the use of the car park that is joining our site on Sunday's and throughout the week in the evenings.
