Do you guys ever race tourers? Or is there no call for it in the Seaham/Sunderland Area?

no. never run touring cars.
Theres a club that runs at tyne met the newcstle RC racers club that runs Touring cars on a Monday night
and I think barely mow might run them as well on a Sunday.
Then there is also teeside that runs touring cars, and GT12's

As Afro says Newcastle RC Racers run TC's at Tynemet College (& buggies) every Monday night 7-10pm on the wooden floor in the sports hall.
Please feel free to pop along for a look, you'll be made very welcome. Bring a car if you have one.

Barley Mow used to run 1/10th TC's on carpet but I think they're mainly 1/12 gt's now.
Check NRCR's forum or FB page and Barley Mow's to see if they do still run 1/10th

Nah mate......Buggies are way more fun than touring cars.......

Come along to Seaham or other rc clubs around the north east and see what class you would prefer

Noooo - don't let Dex tempt you to the dark side Cookie TC's are far closer racing

Only place you'll be able to compare TC's and Buggies is TyneMet anyway to help you decide which way to go as nowhere else runs both

How's the car hunting going anyway, been a few weeks since you were along, still working too hard?

Barlymow currently run GT12 and LMP.

We are about to start racing the M-05 chassis.

Best thing for you to do is have a look at the 4 clubs in the area and see what is the best fit for you.

Below is the link to the club www

Only place you'll be able to see buggies on a OFF-TRACK track built for 1/10 off-road buggies and NOT a touring car track with a small wooden jump is Seaham
With around 30 drivers every week it's the most competitive club to race at as well....
