Lucky you, because I've decided that for now I'm not cutting the chassis to get lipos to fit (TL-01, rounded hole).

Nearly there As I just managed to wreck pinion grub screw... I have a new body though, also a 15t motor, as well as wheels and tires. Old shocks and everything else seems OK...

At the last second went the Scuby route, I suspected there might be too many Foci (is that the plural?).

PS: So yeah, TL-01, I'm keeping with the theme of racing a wholly unsuitable car Wait till I take up truck racing... Tamiya Lunchbox FTW

Erm... I actually ended up with a substantially higher ride height on the rally car than the buggy...

I'll be up for some Lunchbox racing! I've heard they handle like a dream. Or was it a nightmare? Anyway, sounds fun!

I also have more ride height on the Rally car than on my old Cougar SV I think, so don't worry about that!

Sounds like we're going to have at least McRae (me), Hirvonen (John) and Solberg (is yours a 2003 Impreza?) on the track. Think I might book in as Dr McRae for this series.

I spent half the summer trying to not grip roll a buggy! I can't imagine I'll do that well with a Lunchbox.

I have a McRae bodyshell, but didn't want to destroy it. So now I have a 2003 Impreza.

there should be a special prize for the first person to turn up with a Group B bodyshell on. That would be mint.

Yeah! I think you can get an Audi Quattro shell (can't remember who makes it) but I'm not sure how good it is. Haven't seen any 037s though. Can you get them? Wedding anniversay on Monday - might have to put a special order in. A bodyshell is about as exciting as it gets these days.

I don't even want to think about that... anywhoooooo, here's the rally car nearly ready with my other slow coach:

Will probably want to drive the rally car car in between rounds on Friday if that's OK... I have no idea at all how it drives yet, I want to make sure it gets round the track

Tell me about it! As you can see on the pic above I have been through the process of cleaning it... Wet grass racing is a blast, but part of me never wanted to race on grass ever again.

WOW! I've always promised myself that if I am ever rich I'd buy an R5 Turbo! I don't care if it never works, just to sit in it and make vrooom vroooom noises.

Well, here's some pics of the Focus ready for action. It's seen better days and my window-masking skills have definitely improved since I did this shell (very non-OCD), but it'll do for now.

Linky no worky Dave. You mean this one?

http://www.rcbodyshop.fr/bodyshells/...uattro-s1.html

I fancy getting this and making a 1/10 replica of the S3:

http://www.rcbodyshop.fr/bodyshells/...-a3-190mm.html

Moulding isn't great, but I reckon it would look OK.
