DEX210 MM4 Motor Cover
Just Finshed building my new 210, I am running it in MM4 config. I'm not that keen on the extra motor cover (not gear cover) that is supplied in addition to the shell.
Does everyone run these? or do some people leave them off? I can see more cooling to the motor with it off. Thanks Si |

Never bothered myself, was a pain to get it to sit properly, so i put it in a box and left it. Threw it away this afternoon actually. Still unused.

Thanks Matt,
That was my feeling too, it looks rubbish and doesn't fix well, but wasn't sure if there is a BRCA rule that motors must be fully enclosed by the shell. |

The motor can be compleatly un coverd otherwise all rear motor cars would not be aloud to race
I wouldnt bother with it cut the shell accordingly |

He's not talking about the gear cover, he's talking about the motor cover.

Unless you are thinking off changing from mm to rm motor often most people are just cutting the bodyshell to fit the mm motor format
