Time for another post on my life's little failures.

I bought an axe the other day from B&Q, with the aim of chopping firewood for my fire, as it is getting quite cold lately. Only thing is I have seen sharper spoons than this thing, so need to sharpen it.

I tried a knife sharpener last night, but just cut my finger on it. Anyone know how to sharpen an axe? And more importantly does anyone have an axe-sharpener that I could borrow?

Thanks

I would say if you dont know how to sharpen an AXE then you probably should not be using one

An electric stone (no not a bench grinder) is best if not you will be at it for some time by hand.
