Default soldering king

Hi,can anyone at the club de solder and then re solder wires from my speedo,the king of soldering has gone to play with mini mouse,i think he uses a solding iron hotter that the sun,

I have a 80w soldering iron with a smallish tip if you want to use that reg

Reg, have you got to unsolder the wires at the speedo?

I usually cut the wires back to about 2" then solder onto the ends, It saves having to put the heat too close to the speedo.
I have some lengths of yellow, orange and blue if you need any.

it not so much the iron i need to borrow,its someone who can do a top job for me as i cant solder

Hi Colin,thanks for the tip and the offer of some wire,iv got to change the wires so the go in from the bottom,

Rich is fired........i was going to ask if you could change the battery connections so they go in the top,it will fit ok and be a better fit,but you were to busy fitting out ya NEW car
