Default Track maintenance - Saturday 8th June

We will be running a track maintenance day this Saturday 8th June.

The main task is to continue building the permanent wooden fence around the track in order to get rid of the plastic netting which we are having to buy and replace on a regular basis.

As ever we would be extremely grateful for any help. Just a couple of hours would be a big help.

Probably start around 9.00am. Dan and Julian are organising the wood and cement so we just need some hands.

Many Thanks

Rob

Guys,

Just want to say, I know we all have comitments and some with health issues, but we are a club not a business and to make torch better each year it takes a bit of help from its members sometimes and not just committee members. So if you can help even if its for a couple of hours it would be great. Please post if you can help, just to give us an idea off what we might be able to achieve on Saturday.

Cheers

Just a reminder what torch was like a few years back

Dan

Wow! Can't believe its the same place looking at that picture.

Really sorry I can't make it this Saturday guys. Ive answered the call before but this time I've had to sell my soul to SWMBO on Saturday in order to secure an all day pass for Sunday

I may get flamed for this but would it be practical to get us regular Sunday morning racers to do half an hour of maintenance stuff before we start running?

With an organised list of what needs doing it would probably make light work of the upkeep required, chipping in a little at a time each week!

Paul

Last time I did a work party, it cost me a day off work, a trip to court, £300 and got me 6 points on my immaculate licence.
