Default TM2v2 - Silverstone Setup

Hey guys,

Am looking for recommendations on setup of my TM2V2 on oils and Pistons....at present I'm on kit pistons and 350cst rear and 550cst front and the front feels too hard when negotiating jumps etc with the car bucking/being unsettled far easier than I'd like.

Thinking of trying this one http://site.petitrc.com/setup/teamc/...totfold201403/ but believe this is more aimed at Stotfold?

Thanks in advance for your help guys

Hi

i was running 550 on the front as well at the last round of silverstone in January.

it did feel a little hard over the jumps but was good on the flat stuff so made up for it. on the TM2 ive always run longest wheelbase to try and calm it down.

also links on the front, inside 2 washers under. rear links need to be longest possible and parrallel to the wishbones.

i tried going softer on the front but it was slower to had to do the above to make it work.

hope it helps.

Thanks for the replies guys, very much appreciated.

Andrew - do you mind me asking which Pistons you were on with those oils? The front just feels way too stiff where it is at the mo and when coming out of a corner and on to a hop jump if I don't hit it completely square the car takes off and lands on an angle usually resulting in kart wheels!

Chris - thanks for the link, I've gone through the team c uk onedrive already and there's a lot of varying opinion on setup which I get as its a personal thing but doesn't help in my quest for a car which jumps AND corners well, feel my car is great in corners but looking to be able to attack the hops and ripples a little more if poss and looking forward to experimenting with the shocks a little
