Default B44 turning circle poor

Can anyone offer some advice on improving the turning circle on a B44? I am running a Savox 1258 servo but the steering is very poor, severe understeer. I have a standard size servo horn and both steering links and the drag link are as per manual. I am using a Spectrum DX2 and the end point adjustment is set to the max 100. Help

Have you tried resetting all the steering adjustments the Transmittter can make? I know with the Futaba 3pk that I use there are a number of different adjustments you can make other than End points, like dual rate, that could have an effect!

I have used the 1258 in a B44 and B44.1, both with the standard linkage parts, and it's never had an issue reaching full lock when it's set up right!

That said, you can adjust the end points beyond 100% normally...have you tried that to make sure your getting full range?

Hi Guys

What sort of diameter turning circle should I be hoping to achieve with my B44? At the moment it must be about 1.5m diameter, which I know is pants!!!

I tried a friends Lazer the other day and that was less than 1m

Well, just let it go to full lock (you'll hear the servo "complain"), than back off some steps on the EPA until it goes quiet. You then have maximum lock.

I think max throw on Futaba is "120%"
