Default HELP Needed, I want to step 20yrs back in History

Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help.

20years or so ago I had my much loved Cougar and I bought a Rally Car Style body for it. The body was an 1/8 scale "Ford XR2 Wide Bodied Sytle" Rally bodyshell. (the 1/8 scale wide style fit lovely over the wheels of the Cougar)

I got it from The Manchester Model Shop on Deansgate which then became Modelzone.

I have decide I want to relive my youth and build the car again, This time using the SX3 or DEX210 chassis.

HELP - I cannot remember who the bodyshell was made by, It began with a 'P' and I am sure they could have been an American Company?? I don't have the Part Number either.

Question - Does anyone where I can source another body from?

Has anybody got one?

I hope this has the vintage guys thinking on this one, I really desire to build another..... HELP

I've got a Schumacher Sierra Saph Cosworth shell painted in blue. It's used but not too bad. It was from the Bosscat Sport I think. I put it in the for sale section.

Any good?

You can still get PARMA bodies on Ebay and a good alround choice from tourers to Cadillacs.

Ive painted a few, Cadillacs come in 3 parts bonnet, cab and boot then you join the three together with double sided tape.

Very good detail and quallitiy PARMA bodies

I've got a couple of 235mm buggy bodies.

One is an American muscle car, the other is a Peugeot 306 Rally. I keep meaning to paint up the 306 and stick it on of my buggies. There's just something cool about the wide rally shells

Parma XR2.

You will have to be patient if you are searching for the specific body, some of mine I have collected have literally taken years for ones to appear anywhere. The quickest way of getting hold of a period correct body, even if it isn't a Fiesta, is to see if a shop can order the Parma Escort Cosworth, Horizon Hobby UK had a batch of them pulled a few years ago. Or there's the Delta Plastik Lancia Delta.
Otherwise it's just a waiting game for bodies to pop up, such as the Sierra Cosworth above.
