Default Tomy Intruder

I've put this in here as it's not quite a for sale, more to gauge whether there might be any interest.

I am basically moving house soon and am having a sort out of 'stuff'. Now my intention was to fully restore the car to either race in a vintage series or have as a shelf queen but it's been put on the backburner and what with other current R.C. stuff and other commitments and i've just not got around to it. I have picked up a few parts for it over the last couple of years when things have popped up on ebay; wishbones, tyres, bearings, blingy hubs and a few other bits but the car is essentially as it was when I gave up the hobby back in about '92 ish. It was only ever run with the undertray and probably did 5 meetings before I gave up so it is pretty much bang on. Only thing I swapped was shock towers for alloy which someone on oople kindly donated, as I broke the flimsy originals.

It has original box and instructions (although not in great condition through storage). It has shell, undertray and wing, These are somewhat ratty but could be used to make a replica if you have the means.

If anyone is interested please drop me a pm with an approximate offer and I'll send some pics over. If not, I'll keep it on my to do list!

Cheers

Chris

I am happy for people to sell vintage stuff in here - maybe we need a sub forum in here for vintage sales? I love all old mad cars and have a brand new intruder in box - sadly mine is the crap cheap version.

If I had the money I would have bought it, great cars and had some great battles on track against these.

If you're not in a hurry to sell it: just keep an eye on the wanted posts and try to work out something when you see one asked for.
These are rare cars but so are the collectors for them.
If you put it on ebay , don't go for a low reserve or you risk to to see it go for far less than you'd like.
