..well it only took a year but i found a pair of shock towers thanks to a generous soul on here. I'm going to do a template on CAD based on the aluminium ones so that Fibrelyte or similar will have a template if anyone wants to buy some carbon fibre repros.
I Could just do with a new shell and wing now and she's almost ready to run, just need to find some vintage meets. Not sure if my Fabbiix batteries will still cut the mustard, or even charge for that matter but I'm going to try and do it properly old skool and not put lipos in, that'd way too easy!! Wasn't there a fully tricked up version of the intruder by Classic models? I always wanted one of those, but made do with my Lazer ZX in the end.

Think Tomy developed the car then sold it on...
I tried to restore one a few months back, but had a nightmare trying to source bits and gave up. (bought an old Cat XLS instead  )There has been a few through ebay recently, paid £42 for a complete RTR car, but finding a good shell was a nighmare!
