Default Quick (daft) question on 410R build

I have pretty much finished my 410R build and am very pleased with it, just one thing I am not sure about, on page 17 of the manual the manual seems to show sliding the '310039' plastic part over the centre shaft joint but then doesn't seem to show it anywhere else. Is it to prevent the pin coming out? Probably a really daft question!

The two little black rings fit over the input shaft pin.
It stop the pin eating your LI-PO.

A good idea is to follow the TD Tech Tip on building the input CVD If the grub screw is sat in the groove of the pin there is no way it can come out.
