Default Sanwa Gemini 2 - faulty Tx crystal slot

Hi,

Anyone got any experience with repairing the crystal slot on Sanwa Gemini 2 transmitter?

The crystal seems to have a bad connection - wobbling it slightly will make it work or not.

Is this an easy fix or are we talking expensive repair / replacement?

Maybe there is a component I can just replace it with, say from an old Acoms, Hitec, Gemini 1 or other cheap transmitter.

Thanks.

just replace the little housing/connector that you put the crystal in and it should be fine again, if you have any dud recievers or old transmitters you don't use then you could pinch one from them if it's still in good nick, same thing happened to my ko esprit 3; once I changed that for a new one it's been fine again since. 5min solder job
