Default Lipo run times advice please!

Hi All,

Probably going to get the CORE deal that's on the go just now, CR175 - the ESC, motor and a 3200mAh Lipo 1S pack.

Just wondered though, what sort of runtimes would you get out the 3200maH pack? I take it not enough for 3 heats and a final? Just wondering if the 3200maH battery in this deal will essentially become redundant because I will find that I will need to get something bigger. Or would it make sense to just buy another one and keep it for the final?

Any advice / personal experience much appreciated!

Cheers
Craig

My 13.5 motor uses between 1000mah and 1500mah depending on practise laps.

as sosidge. about half hour on charge between races will see you right, lipo don't mind being topped up all day, don't run until flat, don't leave in car connected between meetings, don't charge on the wrong settings. You will be surprised how easy lipo's are.

A quick edit: You can pull em off charge if you need to run, not a lot going into them towards the end.

at plymouth we were using 3000mA in 8 mins sometimes up to 3200mA so you will need to charge it after each round and for the final

Excellent everyone, good advice. Think I'll go for the deal then, and use a club night to suss out the logistics - see how much Im using and how long to charge back up.

Cheers
