Stuntmonk1,

Wow, you have nearly as much purple as my Cat2000/98/EC hybrid :-)

Where have you been getting the new parts from? And those purple spacers between the shock mounts, where are those from!?!
And the wing mounts?

Hi buddy, yeah as my dad says, wing mounts are from a Schumacher cougar kc, they are a straight swap. The spacers are the heat sink fins off the motor heat sink chopped down and drilled out. Hope this helps.

Regards Mitch

Yes, that is pretty cool, I may attempt that with my heat sink, though I'll probably loose a finger.

Alloy aerial holder and servo mounts... are they alloy equivalents of the standard schumacher ones?

Stuart.

Another build just about there. Cost me an arm and a leg this one but it’s not very often a mint tomy infuser comes up for sale. I had previously purchased all the gpm parts and had them all re anodised ready to go, underside of the car doesn’t have a mark to it either which is rare. Photos don’t do this iconic car justice. Hope you guys like it

Default Procat

Finally got round to “finishing” my procat project. Still some additions I’d like to make but waiting till they pop up for sale. Not sure I’m ready to do another procat after this one, they really are a pain to work on😂 I did start with the intentions of doing it all black but then didn’t like the look halfway through, so I decided to do silver alloy too so it makes it stand out more. So the spec I’ve built this car too is:

Tanaplan

Chasisis
Top deck
Sideplates
Shock tower
Rear camber link plate
And steering rack

Mms front and rear diffs

Schumacher slipper

Sjp rear wishbones

Alloy eccentrics

Alloy z bracket

Alloy layshaft bearing holders

Also just put some matched sanyo cells in along with a reedy mr series motor for period equipment. Thanks to Paul Brockbank for the recommendations! Just have to re wire a speedo before I can drop that in. But i like the way it sits at the moment. Doesn’t look too crowded in there at the moment imo.

Not going to bother with a body either as it would be cruel to cover this up.

Hope you guys approve, if anyone has or comes across some sjp top mounts or crashback mounts in white please give me a shout.

Cheers Mitch

Very cool mitch👍🏼.

Love to know where you guys find all the alloy bits and pieces, I’m still on the hunt for tanaplan or similar side plates for my project just don’t want to spend £370 for a whole buggy to get them😬

Keep up the good work.

Thought I’d give in update since I have done so in a while, not been super busy but I’ve recently bought and purchased these 2 rb5 Vegas and b4.1 vega elite. One rb5 and the b4.1 have next to no scratches and have come up super tidy, just need to source an original body for a rb5 vega if anyone knows of one kicking about

Mitch

Default B4

Another pretty much new build complete. Team Associated B4 FT with nearly all the trinity parts. Just on the lookout for some rear hubs if anyone has some stashed away👍🏻

Also signed by the man himself Paul Bradby

Enjoy

Default Losi Xxx

Another one that I finished a while ago, a graphite Losi xxx with some trinity goodies to be used. No shelf queen but a tidy example at the least.

Enjoy
