Default Aluminum Front Shock Tower for 410 2010

Just broke my Front Tower yesterday and was wondering if a 410R Aluminum Front tower is a good replacement for the 410 Specs. as the 4mm CF thick gave in. Or this will just bend? the track that im running has this big tripple that i think caused the breakage while landing on my backside. need feedback before i purchase a replacement.

thanks guys.

Hi Slowjun,

The CF tower is really strong, but can broke on eavy crash, the aluminim tower of the 410R will bend, and you will continu your race.

I prefer CF because I think the plastic 330003 could break if the tower doesn't, it is also lighter...

I know a lot off people that are running the 401R and I haven’t seen one bent yet.
But they have cut the outer hole off as it’s not needed.
If you look at the Durango used in the EBOR 24hr race you will see what I mean.

Thanks for the advise, the CF is a bit steep for the price. i will try to fabricate mine if it will stand up with the beating, not that good yet on the tripple thats why sometimes the landings are rough.

and then again, my son also runs the car so i thing i need to think it over.

i leaning towards the 410R tower as i think its a though one as compared to the CF that came with my 410 specs. still just a novice and can afford to shell out $30+ buks just for a tower.

i dont get Ebor 24?got the link?

thanks guys.

You can purchase the aluminum one and see how it goes. It may be a better option and then when you master the triples you can always purchase the cf one.

The aluminum tower is strong but I have an R and there's an issue I'm having at the mo. In a crash the ball stud can jump a hole and then the car is a pig to drive for the rest of the race.

Fibre-Lite do a copy for £12.50, the material is mint. I had a one for my B44 and it didn't break.
