Default 210 rear-mounted shocks

I've read that maybe the V.2 210 will have the shocks mounted at the back of the rear wishbones, and that some people are already either 'flipping' the kit wishbones to accomplish the same thing, or drilling new holes for the shocks without flipping the wishbones over.

The thing is, what difference do people notice in handling? and has anybody (yet) been rear-ended and suffered damage to the shocks as a result?

I like it with the rear shocks, haven't really tried it back to back, they changed the layout when I changed the car (directional turf, its really weird with a new layout) but have since won a couple A mains, so I like it I've never had any shock issues, makes changing springs a breaze though
