Default What motor do you use in your YZ-2?

I'm thinking of a motor change in my YZ-2. I'm after something nice and smooth.

What motors are you using and have they been good or bad?

Has anyone tried the Hobbywing Xerun 7.5T?

Was running a vampire v2 6.5 in mine but encountered problems with the sensor unit slipping and altering the timing on its own. Eventually replaced it with a nosram pure2 modified 6.5 and really liking the design of the timing inserts. It runs a bit hotter than the vampire did but it feels quicker too. Also interested to hear about others opinions on motor options for another yz-2 I'm putting together.

I've got various winds of the Muchmore Fleta series, which a very similar to the Reedy and Reds motors (same sensor parts, not sure about the stators). MM Fleta and Reds are the best I've had so far, good stuff!
If you like the overall feel of your current motor, check if there is a socalled high-speed rotor for it, it should be smoother with a little less torque.
