Default Stadium truck tyres and inserts

Hello

I’m looking for some advise on what tyres and inserts I’ll need for a stadium truck on Astro turf.

Thanks for your help

For fronts either jconcepts swaggers or proline prisms are the preferred tyre if you can get hold of them, if not schumacher ribs with the outer rib trimmed off. Rears are either minipin or minispike depending on how long the astro is. For inserts you want either schumacher hards or closed cell in the front and schumacher softs in the rear.

Dave, in which circumstances do you run the hard inserts in the front compared to the closed cell?

Thanks

I find the softer the insert the more traction/steering you'll have. We run very low grip Astro and some even run no inserts in the front to give more steering, I personally use soft but like I said its very low grip. On EOS carpet I run closed cell on the front to take away some steering.
