Anyone usedthe Orion 45c lipos yet? Look very tempting must be fast as fook!

no but im intrested on gett ing some new lipos looking to pay around 130-150 for one but looking to get 2 :L what are the prices on these

I've got a couple of the 35/65C hyperion cells and yes they are really punchy but the thing that i found more attractive is the 5C charge rate and the 300% increase in cycles.
I've not charged at 5C yet but i have taken them to 3C and they stay cool. |

I very much doubt that's 45C continuous. I just did a search for these, and no-one appears to have any, there are no traces of them on Orion's website. If they were the Carbon Experience Lipos then it would make sense, but they look and are different.
Unless Orion have gone along the Maxamps route of advertising the burst current and not the continuous. Also, they seem a little 'cheap' for 45C Lipos, especially considering the rest of their range. I would avoid these until more info is known. |
