Air brush paint
Right lads I've just bought a air brush kit, I've bought white pearl and magenta createx paints, I've just put on a first coat, thing is for a newbie is there a sort of guide to water/paint mix as its to thick to use straight from the bottle, if you no what I mean

You've probably done it all now. You need to thin it until it will go through the airbrush easily at about 40psi. If the paint is spidering when it hits the shell out you either have it too thin or are too close with too high pressure. If it won't go through and splatters everywhere add a touch more thinner. The paints vary with each colour though so some need a little more thinning than others, it's really what suits you and what you get used to. It's not a chemical that won't set if you don't put the exact amount with it so there is no science to it, just what works, you don't need much though, a drop or two of thinner will make the world of difference. |
