Default Saddlepack mode

I have set up mine with saddle packs and the stock chassis, I was really pleased with it.
Got some help from Mr Ralls with setup, wasn't really far from what I had with shorty actually.
Im going to keep running it like this. It wasn't as twitchy, which is good for the older generation

Anyone else running it with saddles?

I currently run the shorty config with richards Lowes setup (chatterton Rd3) which works great, but now i'm going to try it saddle config. can you suggest any changes to the setup i might need to make?

The car will be heavier in general so maybe going up 2.5wt all round might be a good first change. I'm going to update things in the setup section with my 2015 national setups when I get chance

Hi new to the HB section i purchased one 2-3 weeks ago now after outing my K1 Aero my mate has a D413 and i decided to give it a go its a fantastic car i run it at first round of oople at bury and poled and won the c final after finnishing the build on friday then on track saturday so more than happy.

Only down side
i have a ORCA motor that dont fit in the car i run in saddle pack mode as does my mate and he has a REDS motor.
Now none of these motors fit???? why.
now we had to buy etronix motors to fit as there shorter.
That is not good on HBs side making a kit that runs both saddle and shorty
and the motor dont fit not good at all.
But other than that i cant argue the kit is great and happy with it just wish i could run my not cheap ORCA motor.

Any tips or advice would be great.

We have dremmeled the steering arm to allow certain motors to fit. There is a load of material there so you can normally get away with it. I have for customers fitted thunder powers as well as reedy in this way
