Default Team Durango tease with DESC410R

Team Durango have released a cryptic teaser on their blog news page - simple a logo with the words "New Team Durango project… …and its closer to release than you may think."

The DESC410R - with no offical clues from the tight-lipped Team Durango boys, you can take apart the name pretty easily and guess. So we assume there's a new Short Course 4WD truck based on the soon-to-be-released DEX410R chassis. - But we could be completely wrong.
Whatever the truth, more news should be released soon if TD keep by their word - Check out the Team Durango blog for the full tease. http://www.team-durango.com/blog/?p=746

SC and closer than you think?

Well, things that begin with S and C and are close to me now include....

Stupid Cat(s)
Small cock
Small child
Small chair
SweetCorn

and I doubt Durango will release any of those to the public

Well.. acording to the logo (outlines and the "dirt effect" characters) an SC release could be the most probable option...

But after the "Racing" Mug released by TD few weeks ago.. what could we expect..

Short Course vehicle makes sense... with all the money durango has dumped into R&D these past 9 years (first durango cars: 2001, right?), and the little return they've probably gotten lately (thank the financial crisis and stranded disposable income for that), they need cash, quick... with a SC they'll lost their soul to the hardcore racers who swear by the Dex410 and their soon-to-be-release 8th scale jewel, but they "could" crack the huuuuuge US market where SC is the only thing that matters there these days, with only a few investments like a longer chassis and a flattened-roach-shaped piece of lexan (sorry, that's what most SC look to me...)

Then again I might be completely smoking dope

Paul

PS: gotta love the internet

A bit of an odd move for such a purist team as durango .
Understandable though ; SC classe has grown and most clubs seem to have accepting them.

if it's based on the 410 ; it can't be all that bad .

I curious to see the end result & what changes they have made from the original .
