Default Losi mini t

Hi, my boy saved his pocket money and got himself a mini t. It already had a couple hop up parts fitted. He added a Losi Xcelorin 8200kv and it shifts. I've managed to find a couple of 2S lipo's that will fit but the battery compartment is just a couple of millimeters out either way to take many that i've found. Can anyone recommend a hop up chassis that will give me a bit of a wider scope for battery sizes.
Cheers.
