Default Help me Fix slight overspray on window

Can any body help me fix slight amount of over spray on the window of my BMAX4. The over spray is Tamiya PS-7 but is very slight in the centre where it got past my masking on the main window. I need the window to be clear, I need a easy fix for this problem, and still keep the window clear.

Panting the window out is not an option due to racing in BRCA events, the rest of the body is 100% perfect so would love to fix this over spray.

Thanks LEE-HO

You could always put some sort of solvent on a paper towel and wipe over the area. I think Acetone will cloud the lexan, but alcohol should work. May take a while though. You might want to put a piece of masking tape over the painted section to mask off the paint from the window.

NEVER put solvent on it!!!!
It will melt the plastic and ruin the shell.

As said above, T-cut can be used, or put a touch of nitro fuel on a rag and wipe it, eventually it will soften it and wipe off.

Nitro fuel, aka alcohol.

And like I said, acetone will cloud the lexan. Read first, open mouth later.

...I did. There was a full stop at the end of that 'sentence'. Then you started a different tip.

Anyway, Nitro fuel is good for clearing shells of paint...I've had plenty of experience. lol
And rubbing compounds are good for cleaning overspray....again, plenty of experience.

Nitro fuel will leave a thin residue of oil.

My Ma mistook a gallon of blue thunder for windshield washer fluid and it took months for the haze to go away.

Best thing to is probably use a rubbing compound. Then use a tint. By tinting the window (not a heavy tint) it will cover any light scuffs made by the rubbing compound (T-cut).

I've seen some windows totally blacked out at brca off road events before. Don't thnk it matters too much in buggies as much as it does in tourers. I know in tourers, they fail your car if it has a slightest tiny bit of the design creeping into the clear section of the window.
Whereas, in off road, designs are regularly done to modify window shape.

You could also just put a sticker over it...
