Default H2 pro spur gear change

Hobao h2 pro....what other spur gears can i use on it other than the kit one? Losi 22??

I tried using the losi 22 one, I think it was the 83 tooth one, what i had to do was drill out the central hole where the spur goes onto the main shaft. Not sure what the diameter for the hole is but once you do that then it worked for me. To be honest it is probably easier to stick with the standard spur gear and try changing the pinion instead. But if you want to change the spur then just do what I did and that should work fine

Just make sure that you get the 'modified' spur gear that comes with the bigger pads, not the smaller one.

I also used a Losi 22 spur (70t) had to use losi slipper pads as the Hobao ones are completely different. Also it requires a drill as the hole is a fraction to narrow, just use a proper bench drill, I tried to do it first go with a cordless drill and botched it, it needs a precision hole drilled otherwise the gears don't mesh cleanly.
