Default MY FIRST PAINT JOB PICCYS.

Here is my very first attempt. A little tricky and I need to get to grips with the fast mask and cutting properly but I'd really like some honest feed back and pointers.

Good effort for first shell! Not sure I like the window but then it's not my shell

The stars on the side are cool.

Did your checks go green when you backed the lot with yellow or were they meant to be green?

The spoiler is ace!

There's a lot on that for your first go. Good effort !

You've learnt from it too, back colours with different colours can give good results and you can get some cool stuff going on overlaying transparents.

Good luck with the next one

Thanks Guys. I'll get another this weekend and have another go! I'll try and think it through better and get the window right. I think that I'll chose some different colours maybe. We'll see. Thank you for the pointers.

Also getting the hang of smooth movements and continual air to get really smooth lines. I'll keep trying.

Planning and making sure you know what you're doing and where it's going before you start can help get everything right and just make it easier to do. Draw it out on paper first or on the computer if your handy with digital stuff ?

Also if you limit yourself to maybe 3 colours, or 2 colours plus a 3rd colour which is only the pinstripes then make a simple effect design you might find you're happier with it ???

Doing all the other stuff is cool but don't try and do too much.
