Default No belt, no drive, no racing. Please help!

Hello all.

I have an old Losi XXX-Sedan I'd like to get going next winter as something to play with in-between off-road meetings at a local club.

Problem is I cannot find anywhere that has any belts in stock! Mine is dead, no teeth as car has been sat too long and has deteriorated through lack of use.

I was trying to find a3280 - "losi team losi heavy duty long drive belt kit xxx s a3280" so that I can run the XXX-4 belt.

No one seems to have these belts here or in the USA!

Can anyone help?

Cheers.

I'm sure its something you'd be able to buy from outside RC. Let me know the details, teeth pitch, how many and width of belt and I'll source for you.

Thanks guys. LP House is out of stock at the moment. Have used before but I think the XXX-Sedan is just too old now.

As for making a belt I know the new belts are 777mm in length but have no idea on teeth pitch?

I've managed to source some new parts from a shop - I hope they're the parts I need? I've ordered a HD XXX-S/XXX-4 Tension arm, HD pulley and a 777mm XXX-4 belt. I've read these fit with the HD parts.

Will find out in a few days.

Again thanks for the advice and help. The belts are around £12 to buy. Any estimates on non-RC belts outside of the RC industry?

I managed to get one from Gee Dee models a while back for my xxxs, but there are also a few places in the US that had them as well.I would be amazed if Losi House didn't have them or could get them.I have tons of other spares for the Losi if you need anything else, but only have the belts in my cars I am afraid. In the end I found mine,by just putting losi belt into google and trawling through the hits.

check out here

I thought a losi TC has 250 teeth, which would make it around the 750 mark (assuming its 3mm) but I could well be wrong
