Tbh what I have found is that silicon oil is what it says on the tin, silicon oil. It's just a matter of working out what the different factors are, either wt or cst or however your chosen brand likes to measure it. If you tend to follow a particular racers setup then use the same oil. If you like to figure out your own best setup then use whatever you can get easily and cheap. There are rough conversion tables around if you go looking if you want to get to a particular setup using a different brand oil. Personally I use core RC because I can get it easily and not too expensive but other guys may swear by losi or associated or whatever else they use.

Issue I've found with Core RC oils is the lids leak oil everywhere.
AE oils are great, but the lids split and then leak (but not as bad as core rc).
Losi oils are coloured, well regarded.
Yokomo CST rate oils, I've just tried, which work out great with decent bottles, but far too small.gone after a few shock builds.

Just pick a brand and stick to it so you have consistent oil rates as you move up the scale.
