I guess it goes back to earlier in the thread: it depends on what the buyer is willing to pay, or sometimes, like you say, someone gets lucky. As I did indeed, very lucky.

Dan mentioned that the prices of parts are going up, this will have a knock effect of rebuilt cars as people start to consider them instead, rather than building from parts.

I'm glad all my projects are done now!

I wish people would stop talking about the £45 Intruder. It make me feel physically sick I missed such a car. To compound the problem a link has been posted to the build thread.

I'm almost 40 but want to burst into tears..

Winner winner chicken dinner

Don't think I'll use quite as much titanium and optional parts on this one to keep the cost lower. Will take some time to rebuild fully. I'm also doing a XX CR which is half complete. More of these running the better!

Great scott!!! Anyone wanting to build a XX Kinwald, there is a chassis for sale on ebay right now:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-TEAM...QAAOSwqYBWms6I

Bargain!!!

Although, then you need the rest of the car, and the blue motor plate which wasn't sold separately outside of the kits........

I think I let my first one go cheap........... the rebuild on the next one is going ok, slowly but ok.....

Anyway I'll be sure to ask the experts on here next time I put something up for sale! Just in case I'm ripping someone off or missing some parts!

The Kinwald had blue coloured springs and a blue motor plate as easy to spot bits.

The only thing kinwald about that buggy is the manual it looks like a stock xx with lightened motor plate.

It's got no graphite parts, the wrong front tower using straps to hold the battery instead of the battery retainer and not a drop of blue parts anywhere to be seen
