Dude, its very easy to find out someones address in the uk

If you know the surname and their rough location then you can find their address very easily by going through the electoral role.

I would hate to think that anyone from oople would nick my stuff but it was definateley someone in the racing game, they left a box of tyres from the euros and wraggy`s stuff from the euros as it is useless in the UK. they also left bags of wheels and inserts but took built ones.

Like i said i hate the thought of it being someone i know but its either that or these theives are really doing their research these days

Oh and i have an X5 and X6

Lee, i understand that losing your stuff isn't great... but it happens to most at some point in their lives. I lost mine couple of years back along with lot of other things... to say it is someone in the Racing game is a very broad statement!!!

I'm not saying it isn't but... just because a bag of wheels and tyres where left doesn't make it somone that races.. I'm pretty sure tyres look valuable to a trained thief ???

All i am saying is if people wish to put there details on here then thats up to them, you still have to find an address, get in your house and find your racing gear !!!! I'm not sure it is worth the hassle really...

As the reason this thread was done isn't anything to do with stolen gear etc can it not be trimmed so people who do wish to use/read it can do so without the pointless emails about adding which town or city you live in. Make a new thread for this if you wish to tell everyone to stay off the internet... if not make sure your insured

Not digging at anyone, but every thread on here seems to have irrelevant posts....

That's ace dude. Try and get up for the regional in 2 weeks time. Southport track is well suited to the Pred - you'll be fine.

Cheers Tom3012 & Stu.
I've mainly done a bit of Mardave and Tourers, and i did have a little go with a B4 last year at the Southport and Bury tracks with very little success
I was racing it with crappy stick packs and a 15turn motor that kept melting the tamiya connectors! then the motor hoovered up a washer off the track at Bury and welded itself together!

So bought this one second hand from my local model shop (EA Models)
I must admit it is a wonderful piece of engineering. I have kitted it out with my old 4200's but the motor i've not yet decided on.
I wanted to fit my 10.5 brushless motor into it but there aint much room for the speedo (nosram matrix Evo), so i'll leave it brushed (probably summit daft) until i can afford a smaller type speedo and bigger motor.
I'll keep my eye out for you this Sunday as my Brother is dragging me up there kicking and screaming because he wants to see how i get on with 4wd!

Hey Darklord Welcome!!

Just a little word, I once did a modification to gain some electronics-space in my Pred.
Maybe it could give you some ideas.
Here is an album I made of these changes: http://www.ludodg.com/RC/albums/Pred_ESC_mod/

All I did was :
* mounting a low-profile servo in the pred
* make a little plateau above the shaft, where there is plenty of room under the body. I could easily fit any type of ESC in there.

I made it in metal, just that it could absorb some heat from the ESC.
This is nothing I invented. I got the idea form a bloke who mounted a normal size servo, and then mounted a similar plate as mine with some double side tape onto the servo. The ESC was then taped onto that plate., above the shaft.

Later on I made a stick-pack-conversion and didn't need this modification any more .
If you like the idea, I still have those parts I made. If you would like to use them, just let me know. It won't be a prob for me to send them to you.
But I'm sure you can work something out yourself

cheers
