I thought Jarrow were going to try and get the same site to use as we have members that were members of NERCR last year and have some good contacts.

Never mind. Where are we racing then??

I also hear there is the possibility of another purpose built track up in the north of the region, but as everything in this world, it's not what you hear it's what you do.

My original post is still valid - with Batley struggling to survive due to lack of people, is Blythe This Blythe is miles away viable?
As Blyth[ correct spelling] as never moved how can it not be in the North East region.

Out of curiosity, what were the original north east clubs holding regionals, from say 10 years ago.

Just because I can't remember.

It's called not being in the 1980's. Things have obviously changed in more recent times. www.maps.google.com will show you just how far north and east Blyth is.

Perhaps the point is, that since Worksop left the NE region in the late '90's, the farthest NE drivers have had to travel South was to York, until in 2005, 6 & 7, Bury joined in. Again in 2008, York was the farthest south. Adding Blyth in again for 2009 adds another 110 miles round trip for all those living North of York, and being, as likely, a full weekender event, many will have to toe a caravan this extra mileage or fork out on accomodation.
