Question GEARING QUESTION: Ratio Range for TC5R

The Kit Spur is 87Tooth 48Dp.

What would be the range I should be looking between for a 13.5T?

The LRP 13.5T Eraser Brushless Motor guide says I should have a ratio of 6.0:1 for 1/10th TC and that means a 29 48Dp Pinion.

but I can't find anything official from TC5R manual online etc...... or on the AE website.

but on all the forums people talk about 4.0:1 ratio's????? Thats a 43T Pinion?

Where do I start?

I ran 29/87 when running the LRP Eraser 13.5 in my TC5.

Just interested, why did you swap cars? I've got a TC5, wonder whether it's time to change or not.

Hadn't bought the car yet: was convinced by club members to buy the T2, parts very expensive though.

Ah. That's the good thing about the TC5 - they don't break and spares are cheeeeeaapp. They don't handle either but that's by the by.
