F1-09 by 3 racing
Well with the recent surge in these kits popularity. I had to get one of the latest F1 kits by 3 racing. It looks like it will be great value, all for around £78 delivered to the uk
More details on by blog, or here http://rss.rcmart.com/2009/09/12/3ra...p-new-arrival/ A couple of friends have also bought them so at least we can try a mini F1 revival at our local club

i also just bought one of these kits, what set up's are you using?, have you ran yours yet, just got mine built and ready to test on the track. also have you got a issue keeping the battery pack secured in, tends to have a bit of movment so just put some foam in.

Sorry I dont yet, as I'm building it at the moment (Doing a build thread for my Blog). I'm also waiting for my low profile servo to come through the post.
What servo are you using? std or low profile? A few of us are planning on racing these this winter. So we will have to try a range of set-ups. I'm really impressed by the quality of the bits. I have a F104 pro as well, but this looks much better value for money.

1st run last night along with other members with there new f1's, well f1-09 outclassed the tamiya but you got to play about with them alot more imo. im using the std. servo and turned the ball joints upside down on the hub to get the steering arms flat. also make sure your shell isnt to low on the back causing the back end not to move freely and last but not least you dont hardly get enough steering compared to the tamiya, and worst of all is the battery location, the battery can move all over the place so cut up and old tyre and used a bit of foam to secure it. apart from that really quick and smooth car on the track.
