Default Racing on a Friday at Aylesbury

If you are stuck with nothing to do on a Friday and fancy a go buggy racing on a carpet surface with jumps then get yourself down to A.O.R.R.C at Quarrendon.

Racing starts from around 7.00pm and you will need either yellow minipins or yellow minispikes (Schumacher).

2 or 4wd, newcomer, expert, old, young, we don't care which, you are all welcome.

Let her in doors watch the telly in peace, come on over to Aylesbury and have a blast with your buggy.

Well bugger me sideways......this is where I started my RC car racing many years ago! Kyosho Lazer ZXR and a bathtub RC10. Get in.

I'm not in that area anymore but would be very interested to know if any of the originals still go there? Kev Mayhew, Peter CHarlesworth and Alex Kapadia are the main names that spring to mind.

Blimey, all those names ring a bell. Was my era at the club too.

In case I manage to get down there, are there any club rules for buggys? Last time I went it was 27t brushed motors and foams only for saloons. Also, any jumps or bumps? Good to see the club going back to its roots. I remember when the club was run by Richard Barton's dad. Anyone else take part in the team races at RAF Halton?
