Default lipo charging/cycling question

hey guys,

just quick question about whether or not it matters if you fully discharge the lipos before fully charging. Like i know with nimh's if you don't fully discharge them before charging they have a "memory" effect which means that they only discharge to that level where you cut it off... is this true with lipo's as well? or am i ok running them for a main and then just topping them off.

thanks,

-Jim

The common reply here will be that you never need to discharge lipo's full stop.
I have never discharged mine even after them bein sat for a month between usage - just balance charge and they've been great.

There is no need whatsoever to discharge LiPos before charging. Or at all in fact.

They have no memory effect.
