A blast from the past, the Black Foot takes on EPR
After a few hours of testing at EPR last week (thanks Steve! i owe you some wonga to put in the club pot!) i decided to give my dads old Tamiya Black Foot a burn round the track............Jeeez how things have moved on over the years!
The lack of propper shocks, speed (it still has the good old silver can motor), any form of handling and the un-earthly sound of CRACK from the ABS bosyshell ringing out at the slightest little mishap really made me appreciate modern RC. I know the Black Foot was never any kind of competition truck but even modern "fun cars" have improved soooo much. That said i absolutley loved buzzing it round!!! anyone for a vintage truck race? i havn't had such a laugh in ages! Vintage Tamiya RULES!

I had one of them , it had rubber washers in the shock body to act as a "damper" and plastic bushes in all the places a ballrace should have been but it was great fun especially with a Reedy mach 1
