Default Closest on-road to Lowestoft?

My son lives there going to school - he has a TB-02 and I would love to find a track or a group for him to join so he has an organized place to play.

He used to live with me here in Canada a few years ago and we had a great indoor track to run on.

THanks

James

I believe there is a club in Lowestoft that runs touring cars and Tamiya M-chassis indoors on Sunday afternoons, not sure if they have an outdoor track though.

There is also the Coastal Model Car Racing Club at Ipswich, which runs TC, M-chassis and buggies outside, although with indoor pitting, might be a bit of a trip for him to get there though, although well worth it.

I have been up there a couple of times to put the off road car on carpet. Great bunch of peeps, very accomodating and a wide age range. I would go more, but it's a late finish for me, not being so local.

If it was round the corner I would be there a lot as they are a good bunch!

Anyway.. no response from them .. from their email contacts. I hope his family will find time to get him there on a Sunday.

I know he would love it.

I'm not sure if off road is something they normally do, but I think they'll run most things if there is enough for a heat, as they did when Ben and a few others went up there.
