AFAIK the Bmax II is delayed due to recent events in Japan, so the spec isn't really an issue at this stage, as it may change again before release.

Ok, we can see the spec on the yokomo web site. It seems the Bmax II has only the new shell compare to the Bmax I.

Thats the base Bmax II, the new FT also has new driveshafts (which look to be the old driveshafts but with a massive C clip round them to hold the pin in), a new chassis (which is the same as the old chassis, but with the cell slots not cut out and a cut out under the motor instead) and a totally new motor mount.

The new motor mount does look good and I'll be wanting one of them. I'll only worry about the new chassis if the old one breaks or can't fit the new motor mount. I don't see the need for the new driveshafts as I've never lost the pins on the old ones, but captive pins are in....

Delivery was delayed, but only a few days it seems.

Why? Except for the motor mount which might make gearing easier, the new B-max has nothing over the 2010 FT version! Replace the parts as NEED arises: in other words breakage or difficulty gearing (for the motor mount).

Or if you really want to, just for bling reasons, go ahead and spend the cash...

CODMAN, you are so right, i know the II version and the first one are closed. If the simply bmax II version had the new improuvments, i would buy it to have the new parts and spare parts too ! Interesed with the motor mount and the chassis ! I am going to wait the spare parts !

Thanks
