Seconded

Just want to echo what i said earlier, a big thanks to Dez for picking me for the team, i couldn't of wished for better team mates & sincerely hope we can be a team again because the comradeship in the camp was superb.

wow would love to hear that!!!!!!!

Anyone know if we will be in Racer or RRCI?

I'm sure everyone has plenty of cool pics and videos of the weekend, how about we use this thread to share them? I will upload mine later and post links.

Was there a concourse competition in the end?

unfortunately not.. (i think we had the best shell though), however at the end i don't think anyone's shell would of won anything other than praise for taking such a beating

Isn't Radio Le-mans still fronted by John Hindhough who commentated on RC-racing TV & i think Nick Daman has a hand in it as well somewhere?

well I have to say what a race!!!

well chuffed that team snoopdog got 8th place!
at the end of the 24hrs I was saying "good god I am knackered, I am never doing that again" now I am already thinking about mods for the car, things to do differently, how to organize stuff better.

fair play to team doris though, they knew what they were doing right from the off, learnt a lot of lessons from them!

certainly wish I have took a few more days off work though.

Photobucket is alright, I used to use that but no one goes on there any more and I find the constant upload and link back a right pain in the arse to be honest.

reason i suggested photobucket was because your facebook account can be used there these days, so i assume (probably wrongly) that you can just transfer your images directly into a photobucket album from your FB login & then just link directly to the album on other sites/forums etc
.

Sorry, Dez, that link doesn't work. I would like to get hold of these photos as I want to make a memento of the occasion for our team. Some observations from the race...

Shand-A-Cola were dead last at two hours until Dez issued the command "let everyone go and keep the car rolling!" At hour six they were fourth... There's a lesson in there for lots of other teams...

Some driving was pretty random, and some drivers were giving their cars an unnecessary beating against the barriers and other cars... until John said that to be classified you had to cross the finish line. I don't think one car touched another in the last five minutes!!!

The camaraderie was just the best. Everyone chatted to everyone, thoughts and things were shared, all questions answered, and great banter.

John took no s**t! There was no politics, the Rules were applied fairly to everyone whether it was the lead car or the last car, the fastest driver or... the most challenged! Every question was answered politely and firmly, and there was never a second where I didn't know where we stood. Brilliant Ardent, just brilliant.
