Hobbywing xtreme stock more problems?

I'm running a gm 13.5t motor on my hobbywing xtreme stock esc and am haveing a few problems
Firstly which software version should I use?

Secondly wen iv changed my settings and use for first time the motor goes mad on boost for first 20 seconds or so then seems to run at half the speed after that? Is their an emergency cut of or have I set something wrong?

I'm very new to this so am very much in the dark so any advice would be great

if your just starting off the pre loaded 422 stock (IIRC) if fine just get used to altering the settings
do you have 2-1 LCD program box you need that to download new firmware from internet via your PC that you can then alter software on your exterme stock i have 3 of them and love them

You must re-calibrate your hand set every time you change from one firmware to an other.

930 is the latest software, but there seems to be an issue with it going into safety mode if under too much load. I removed the voltage cutoff and it solved the problem.
