Default RECEIVERS

Good Day

I am trying to slowly upgrade that little thing I run so that I can get better.. Yay!!!

Now the problem I have is that the Receivers on my car is well im sure a bit rubbish as it came in a RTR car.

What should a person look for in a Receivers?
What are top Receivers names you should keep your eye open for?
What type of money should you be looking at spending when buying a Receivers?
What diffrence does a good Receivers do to you or the car?

Not sure if this is something to sticky on the forum so that any answers given will help others and not just myself.

Vince

Vince, I don't think a better receiver on it's own can give you much of performance increase. You should get a new transmitter and receiver combo, as if the receiver rcives a signal and isn't the size of a house brick it's OK.

The decent top end radios have a faster response rate and a whole host of functions. To start with if you got a decent specktrum wheel system you may notice a difference. The Sanwa MX11 is the current world champion and as a wheel has the same internals as the stick version the Exzes which most of the top UK guys use.
