Hi Neil,
Looking good as always. May I ask what your using for the little hex shapes? And where I could get my hands on some. Maybe you cut it yourself... Thanks Steven |

Hi, I use a Roland Stika sv8 , bought it second hand from Jon Miller.
I can cut 3mm hex fine but can't seem to do any smaller, and it can't cut small round holes they come out sort of oval, but other than that it's great. |

I gave up scale modelling ( statics ) a long time ago because once I'd put hours and hours into them all they did was sit around and gather dust, they were also often a little too fragile to dust and display cabinets were just too expensive.
So I can completely see where you're coming from, the technical accuracy of scale building / making it look right AND you get to drive it, so that's cool. I'd be worried about scratching it though and messing up all my hard work. It's not for me but I can appreciate the time and skill you've put into it. I painted a scale heli a long time ago, took me forever but similarly was really cool to do and the end result was great. |

Hopefully the more it gets used the more it will look like areal one, not many shiny landrovers around.
