Hey all,

Just wondering what servo horn (25t) are people running in these?
I broke a cheapie plastic one as all i had then bought an answer one and it rubs on the bottom for the front bulkhead so to speak,
Many thanks

The TLR horns for the 22 series are ok. I've got the Yokomo BD7 horn on order, hope it will arrive next week. Currently I have a plastic horn from the SC10 on a Futaba BLS-451 with AE TC5 servo mounts in the car, which fits very well.

I use the kit one and it's fine.

How much does it rub? You can dremmel out the underside of the bulkhead to accommodate it. Not too much obviously.

It scuffs it enough to not want to cut that much away, lol,
But the servo horn I have is 20mm hole to hole and I think an 18mm would be nice,

Just trying to find one, like the look of the hudy one,
But thought would ask the question first,

B7-204F for Futaba, B7-204SK for Sanwa/KO Propo. Although the boss seems to be a little on the long side, I think it will fit in my set-up. If it does not, I'll get some different servo mounts, the bottom threads in my AE ones are stripped anyway.

The Alu mounts? They won't fit with the stock horn

I'll be switching over to a Alu horn as well. I should have some lying around.

they do not fit. the arm is far too long and strikes the front top plate on the bmax2. I've tried one already. the hole for the ball needs to be much lower, but there is a space so you can't drill your own and shorten the horn with a dremmel.
I'm still looking for a suitable replacement solid horn.

I am using the stanard answer RC one. Had to cut the top hole off and space the servo forward. The arm is not quite straigh as the servo is pushed right up the extra alu mount for the alu chassis. seems to work fine though as I found the kit plastic one not that great. (Thats using a hitec 945 servo).

Depends on the servo. They do not fit witha Sanwa SDX-801 (unless drilling and tapping additional bottom holes), but I've had no issues with the BLS-451.
If the Yokomo aluminum servo horn does not fit in the Max, I'll return to my TLR horn and put the Yokomo horn in the SC10. No worries!

My point was that you can't shorten it and drill and tap a new hole. Yokomo milled out a space where you would want to drill the new hole.

I've been trying to locate a TLR horn, but no stock anywhere. I've now got a TRL driver team driver to try get me one directly.

Got that! There's plenty of space for the long horn in the truck. I still wonder whether it might fit, there is so much space between the AE plastic horn and the upper bulkhead.

Hudy 25t servo horn v2
DY293493

This one as they measured it 18th centre to centre and about 23mm end to end,
So should be tight but could be onto a winner.
Should see tomorrow,

FYI, the BD7 horn fits great!

...in the SC10!
Back to the TLR horn, matching the colour of the shock caps.

I have used the racers edge and rounded the top and shaved maybe 1mm from the inner bulkhead. Works great

For those who didn't order a worlds chassis.

The worlds chassis will be sold separately. Retail price is around 90euro (so around 75 pound) with the side pieces included. Don't know when they are available, but I guess together with the release of the worlds chassis.

Is the chassis the only difference between the Worlds and Factory?
